An American former professional road racing cyclist, Lance Armstrong through his cycling career managed to clinch a top 3 position in all competitions joined with his peak at winning 7 Tour de France titles from 1991 to 2010.

His usage of steroids in aiding his success came to light in 2012 through investigation by the United States Anti-Doping Agency and he was stripped of the 7 Tour de France titles which was his fall from grace. However, he took the fall gracefully and even managed to beat a stage 3 cancer to go on to compete in triathlons from 2011 to 2012 with top 10 placings as well.

His gold accolades were threatened in 2007 as he was suspected of steroid usage but this was overturned in 2015 as he was cleared, having been a victim of unbeknownst steroid administration.

This signaled the end of his international career but Maradona still enjoyed his many achievements as well as coaching career.
